WWE Money In The Bank will air live from Toronto, Canada on July 6th.
The Premium Live Event featuring the titular ladder matches has become a favourite among WWE fans in recent years and has established itself as one of the “big 5” events each year, with many believing that the show is more of a draw than the long-standing Survivor Series.
One year ago in London, Damian Priest won the Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match and would cash in the briefcase at WrestleMania 40 to become the new World Heavyweight Champion. At the upcoming show, Priest will put the title on the line against the man who held the title for nearly a year, Seth Rollins.
Famous for the multi-person ladder matches, the Men’s and Women’s Money in the Bank matches will see 6 stars fight for possession of the briefcase, which will guarantee the holder a future title match, which has seen the Women’s briefcase have a 100% success rate.
Predictions For WWE Money In The Bank Are As Follows
Sami Zayn (c) vs. Bron Breakker – Singles Match For The Intercontinental Championship
Barring unexpected interference and/or a DQ finish, there appears to be little that will stop Breakker from becoming one of the youngest Intercontinental Champions in history. Breakker is on a dominant run and his momentum should not be stopped. Zayn will always be known as the man who defeated Gunther but it is time to crown a new champion, sadly in Zayn’s hometown.
Winner: Bron Breakker
Randy Orton, Kevin Owens And Cody Rhodes vs. The Bloodline
While it is unknown which members of The Bloodline will feature in the match, the result will be the same. The arrival of Jacob Fatu has given the group a much-needed shot of momentum and look set to continue their journey back to the top of the card. Sikoa will seemingly challenge Rhodes for the title at SummerSlam and this match will prove how dominant the group are heading into Cleveland in August.

Damian Priest (c) vs. Seth Rollins – Singles Match For The World Heavyweight Championship
Both men have a lot to lose in this match. If Preist loses he must leave The Judgment Day and if Rollins loses he can not challenge for the title as long as Preist is the champion. Of course, due to the nature of the event, the winner of the Men’s ladder match could play into the post-match. With Gunther set to challenge the winner at SummerSlam after winning King of the Ring, it is possible that The Ring General picks up his rivalry with Seth Rollins that was teased before WrestleMania, meaning that Rollins could just emerge as the victor.

Naomi vs. Tiffany Stratton vs. Chelsea Green vs. Iyo Sky vs. Lyra Valkyria vs. Zoey Stark – Women’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match
All competitors have a strong possibility of having a very entertaining run with the briefcase. In what is arguably a very unpredictable match, expect high spots from Sky, entertaining moments from Green with assistance from Piper Niven, a good showing from Valkyria and Naomi’s signature athleticism. That being said, the recent alliance with Nia Jax and the opportunity to market a bright pink briefcase makes Stratton the favourite here, meaning that it just might be Tiffy Time in Canada.

LA Knight vs. Chad Gable vs. Jey Uso vs. Carmelo Hayes vs. Andrade vs. Drew McIntyre- Men’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match
Much like the women’s match, the line-up for the match makes the result more unpredictable than in recent years. With Knight set to challenge Logan Paul at SummerSlam a Money in the Bank briefcase looks unlikely again and Gable interference from the Wyatt Sicks also looks probable. Still on a revenge tour and looking to finally use the briefcase to his advantage instead of his detriment, this could finally be McIntyre’s night.
