WWE returns to Saudi Arabia to present WWE King & Queen of the Ring.
Airing live from the Kingdom on May 25th, the conclusion of each tournament will take place along with 3 championships being defended. Winning the Undisputed Championship at WrestleMania and defending the title at Backlash, Cody Rhodes will once again as he puts the Undisputed Championship on the line against Logan Paul in the Kingdom. The last time that Paul was in Saudi Arabia, he defeated Rey Mysterio to win the United States Championship at Crown Jewel in 2023.
Predictions For WWE King & Queen Of The Ring Are As Follows:
Bianca Belair And Jade Cargill (c) vs. Indi Hartwell And Candice LeRae – Tag Team Match For The Women’s Tag Team Championships
Taking place on the pre-show, with no build and one of the first defences of Cargill and Belair, this will be an easy win for the champions. Although Belair’s knee may allow Hartwell and LeRae to take advantage briefly, Belair and Cargill are not losing this one.
Winners: Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill
Becky Lynch (c) vs. Liv Morgan – Singles Match For The Women’s World Championship
This is possibly the start of Morgan’s revenge tour and second title win. While the physicality between the two in the build-up has been limited, it’s not as straightforward to telegraph the results ahead of time. That being said. Morgan looks to start a lenghty title reign soon that will culminate when Rhea Ripley makes her return. Lynch can afford a loss here due to her star power and can be a worthy challenger down the road.
Winner: Liv Morgan
Sami Zayn (c) vs. Bronson Reed vs. Chad Gable – Triple Threat match for the Intercontinental Championship
Gable will become a champion in the future and go on a dominant reign similar to that of Gunther, but it won’t be here. With Reed and Gable likely cancelling each other out and with Zayn losing to Gable on the go-home episode of Raw, Zayn will keep hold of the champion and lose it to a singles match to Gable further down the road, likely on an episode of Raw.
Winner: Sami Zayn
Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Logan Paul – Singles Match For The Undisputed Championship
Now that the stakes of the match have been clarified as Paul’s title is not on the line, the match will be very similar to Paul’s match against Roman Reigns back in 2022. While Paul will get some close calls thanks to interference and high-flying moves, Rhodes will ultimately walk out of King and Queen of the Ring still the champion. With Paul’s crew also likely to get involved, expect interferences from both sides throughout.
Winner: Cody Rhodes
Gunther vs. Randy Orton – King Of The Ring Final
Orton and Gunther is an exciting prospect and one of the most physical matches Orton will ever be a part of. Orton will hit an RKO and come close to winning, but this tournament has been Gunther’s to win ever since he was announced. With a world title match now confirmed for SummerSlam, it could be possible that they run back Gunther vs. McIntyre in Cleveland if The Scottish Warrior is successful at Clash at the Castle.
Winner: Gunther
Lyra Valkyria vs. Nia Jax – Queen Of The Ring Final
With Gunther the favourite to win on Raw and due to the events that took place on the May 24th SmackDown, this appears to be the time for Jax’s coronation as queen at the show. Confronting Bayley after securing her spot in the final and making it clear she will be a future challenger, The Irresistible Force will be the one who is victorious in Jeddah. Also, Jax portraying a queen could make for very entertaining viewing.
Winner: Nia Jax
