WWE Closing On Deal With Indianapolis Which Would Include Future Royal Rumble, SummerSlam & WrestleMania

WWE Royal Rumble

WWE is looking to lock in something big with Indianapolis.

With the company being hotter than ever before, many cities are willing to pay multimillions to have a Premium Live Event in their location, especially if it involves one of the “big 4” shows [Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, SummerSlam, Survivor Series]. While just one event has proved to be a huge drive to the local economy with tens of thousands of fans descending on the city, the state of Indiana looks to be locking down 3.

As reported by WrestleVotes, the Indiana Sports Corp is close to securing a major deal with WWE which would include the 2025 Royal Rumble and 2 other massive shows in the future:

WrestleVotes Exclusive: I’m told WWE & the Indiana Sports Corp are nearing a multi-event deal, starting with the 2025 Royal Rumble at Lucas Oil Stadium on Saturday, February 1st, 2025. In addition, the deal is likely to include a future WrestleMania & SummerSlam, which would both take place at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The Lucas Oil Stadium, which is the home of the Indianapolis Colts, has a capacity of approximately 70,000.

WWE Goes Big For SummerSlam 2026

Although a future SummerSlam is reportedly locked in, it won’t be the 2026 event as that has been confirmed to be in Minneapolis, Minnesota and will be a 2-night event for the first time in the history of the event. The 2024 event will take place in Cleveland, Ohio on August 3rd.
