WWE Announces Return To Saudi Arabia For 2025

Former WWE Star Says They Had To Sign A Waiver Before Saudi Arabia Match

WWE will return to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia later in the year with Night of Champions.

A video package aired during Backlash that confirmed Night of Champions would take place in Riyadh on June 28, meaning that 2 PLEs will take place next month as Money in the Bank has been announced for June 7th in California.

While not officially announced, John Cena is expected to be a part of the show as part of his retirement tour given that the 17 time World Champion is featured in the advertising.

The last Night of Champions took place back in 2023. Along with Seth Rollins defeating AJ Styles to become the inaugural World Heavyweight Champion, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn defeated Solo Sikoa and Roman Reigns in the main event.

WWE Will Only Host One PLE In Saudi Arabia In 2025

Since the agreement between WWE and Saudi Arabia was first announced back in 2018, 2 shows have taken place in the Kingdom each year with the exception of those affected by the COVID pandemic. However, with Crown Jewel already announced for Perth, Australia, only one PLE will now take place in Saudi Arabia in 2025. The reported reason for this is because the 2026 Royal Rumble will take place overseas for the first time ever.
