WWE 2K24 To Be Free For PlayStation Plus Subscribers

WWE 2K24 will soon be free to play on PlayStation.

PS Plus subscribers will soon be able to play the hit WWE 2K24 videogame for free as part of the subscription.

On September 24th, Sony held their annual State of Play event to preview upcoming games and services for the future. During the event, the October games for PS Plus subscribers were announced, and the most recent WWE videogame was included as part of the lineup. Other games included in the collection include Dead Space and Doki Doki Literature Club. The games will be available to download from October 1st through November 4th. Coincidentally, October 1st is also a big day for the company as NXT will debut on the CW Network.

2K24 has been praised by gamers and critics and has the most extensive roster in the history of the franchise. Despite being released earlier in the year, regular DLC updates have kept the game relevant throughout 2024.

In addition to the standard features seen in previous games, 2K24 also has the 40 Years of WrestleMania showcase that focuses on the biggest moments from the past 4 decades.

In other wrestling videogame news, AEW’s Fight Forever videogame was also offered to subscribers for no extra charge back in June.

When Was WWE 2K24 Released?

While some games have been offered to subscribers for free on the day of release, for the most part, games have been out for a number of months before being offered for no extra charge. WWE 2K24 was first released back in March and is nearing the end of its cycle as 2K25 is in production and further details are expected to be announced early next year.
