The ratings are in for the February 4th editions of WWE SmackDown and AEW Rampage. On average, 2.151 million people watched SmackDown while 540,000 watched Rampage. The numbers have been obtained by Brandon Thurston from Wrestlenomics:
Both shows have seen a drop in viewers compared to the previous week. As the January 28th episode of SmackDown drew 2.217 million viewers, the drop calculates to approximately 3%. In regards to Rampage, the January 28th show drew 601,000 viewers, a drop of approximately 10%. In regards to key demographic viewership, SmackDown drew a 0.51 in the 18-49 bracket [down from 0.56] and Rampage obtained a 0.20 rating [down from 0.25]. It should be noted that due to the Winter Olympics starting last Friday, both shows expected to see a drop in viewers.
SmackDown continued the build towards Elimination Chamber with Roman Reign’s next challenger revealed for the Universal Championship. Rampage saw the in-ring debut of Mercedes Martinez for All Elite Wrestling.
