World Title Rematch With Stipulation Announced For July 30 AEW Dynamite

Adam Page and Jon Moxley will go to war one more time over the World Championship on the July 30 episode of AEW Dynamite, once again with a stipulation attached.

On the July 23 episode of Dynamite, Page confronted Moxley following the main event and made the announcement that Mox would get his rematch the following week. However, unlike their previous wars, and many of Moxley’s previous defences, everyone but a referee will be banned from the ringside area, ensuring a fair fight between the current and former champion.

The final match of the show saw Mark Briscoe defeat Claudio Castagnoli. However, following the match, Briscoe was beaten down by The Deathriders in retaliation for Page beating Yuta bloody in the opening match. Moxley insulted Page until the champion had had enough and made the announcement.

At All In: Texas, both men fought in a bloody Texas Death match until Page forced Moxley to submit by hanging him with a steel chain. With the match being no DQ, interference took place throughout and saw the likes of The Young Bucks, Swerve Strickland, Bryan Danielson and a returning Darby Allin all make their presence felt in the match.

With Forbidden Door scheduled to take place on August 24, it is likely that whoever wins the match next week will walk into the O2 in London as the champion.

AEW Dynamite July 30 Lineup:

  • Adam Page (c) vs. Jon Moxley – Singles match for the AEW World Championship with everyone banned from ringside
  • MJF to appear live
  • The Young Bucks vs. The Outrunners – The winners will advance in the AEW Tag Team Championship Tournament
