Two matches are listed internally for WrestleMania 40 and are set to be announced imminently.
Both matches are due to the events that took place inside the Men’s Elimination Chamber in Perth, Australia on February 24th. During the closing portion of the match, LA Knight appeared to have the upper hand before being attacked by AJ Styles, who ran into the structure as an eliminated Bobby Lashley made his exit. The steel chair attack from Styles would cause Knight to be eliminated.
Shortly afterwards, Logan Paul would be eliminated by Randy Orton after being hit with an RKO. Before Paul left the Chamber, Paul struck Orton with brass knuckles, allowing McIntyre to pin Orton and ultimately win the match.
As reported in an update by Dave Meltzer, both AJ Styles vs. LA Knight and Randy Orton vs. Logan Paul is set to be confirmed imminently:
Coming off the Chamber show, those at WWE have confirmed both bouts, AJ Styles vs. LA Knight and Logan Paul vs. Randy Orton, that yesterday’s show appeared to set up. Both are right now listed for Mania.
