AEW President Tony Khan once again has another announcement to make.
The AEW President has been seen on Dynamite over the past few weeks to make a series of announcements regarding the newest show due to debut on Saturday June 17th, AEW Collision.
Following the initial announcement of the third show under the All Elite Wrestling umbrella, multiple locations were announced for the show, with the exception of the debut episode. A series of announcements would follow, with the next being that the first episode of Collision would be airing in Chicago, Illinois.
The announcement of the debut episode added fuel to the speculation that this may signal the return of CM Punk to AEW. This was made official with Khan’s latest announcement, where the former AEW World Champion was announced to be a part of the first edition of Collision.
The updated line-up for AEW Dynamite is as follows:
- “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry & HOOK vs. Dralistico & Preston Vance – Texas Tornado Tag match
- We’ll hear from MJF
- Orange Cassidy (c) vs. Swerve Strickland – Singles match for the AEW International Championship
- Ricky Starks vs. Jay White (FTR & Juice Robinson are banned from ringside)
- Tony Khan to announce main event for June 17 AEW Collision
