The TNA and WWE NXT partnership is set to continue.
At No Mercy, Joe Hendry was unable to defeat Ethan Page and become the new NXT Champion after Page took advantage of a distracted referee to hit a low blow and the Ego’s Edge to win the match and retain the title. While it is unknown when Hendry could appear on NXT next, a top TNA still will be making their return.
As announced on social media, Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace stated that the week beginning September 9th would see Raw, NXT and SmackDown all broadcast on the USA Network as it would be the premiere week for SmackDown on its new home. To mark the occasion, Grace will put the title on the line on NXT for the first time ever on the September 10th edition of the show.
