TNA Rebellion took place on April 20th live from the Palms Casino Resort in Paradise, Nevada.
Multiple TNA returns took place on the night as Mike Santana, Sami Callihan and Matt Hardy all made surprise appearances at the event. Santana became a free agent earlier in the year and Matt Hardy had constantly teased that something big was coming as he had become a free agent in early April.
No title changes took place on the main card as Mustafa Ali retained the X-Division Championship, The System retained the Tag Team Championships, Jordynne Grace defended the Knockouts Championship and Moose defended the TNA World Championship in the main event. Moose was attacked by Hardy after the match.
