Thunder Rosa is looking to revisit her rivalry with Britt Baker by issuing a challenge to the AEW star with massive stakes.
Rosa and Baker have faced each other multiple times in AEW, most notably in their violent unsanctioned and steel cage matches during the pandemic. Although the former rivals have fought over the Women’s Championship in the past, Rosa is looking to make things a lot more personal with her latest challenge.
Speaking on her vlog, Rosa noted that she and Baker are destine for future battles, adding that she wants to face her nemesis in a hair vs. hair match, which would see the loser have their head shaved by the winner:
“I threw a challenge, just a little challenge, hair vs. hair against my nemesis Britt Baker. The reason why I’m doing it is, one, I know there is money on the table. Two, she’s bonded by blood with me. She cannot get rid of my name, no matter what happens [laughs]. Ever. That gives me a lot of pleasure,”
When Did Thunder Rosa And Britt Baker Last Wrestle?
Rosa’s last match took place in late May as she teamed with Persephone to defeat Leila Grey and Lluvia at a ROH taping. Baker has been absent from the ring since November 2024, and there has been no indication as to when the former Women’s Champion will return to TV.
Baker and Rosa were last in the same ring together back in 2022, which saw Baker and Jamie Hayter defeat Rosa and the current Women’s Champion Toni Storm.
