Last night saw the first episode of Smackdown since The Royal Rumble. Here are the most notable talking points from the show:
- Following his appearances on both RAW and NXT, Royal Rumble winner Edge was on Smackdown to confront Universal Champion Roman Reigns. Kevin Owens attacked Roman Reigns from behind and stood tall. Edge is still yet to make his decision.
- Bianca Bel Air also talked about her Royal Rumble win. She talked about her options before Carmella, her sommelier Reginald and Smackdown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks came to the ring. Bianca attacked Reginald and also did not give a decision as to which title she will be challenging for at Wrestlemania.
- The Intercontinental Title was contested in a triple threat match between champion Big E, Apollo Crews and Sami Zayn. Big E retained.
- Dominik Mysterio defeated Baron Corbin following interference from his father Rey.
- Cesaro defeated Daniel Bryan in a technically impressive match.
