The Rock Names His Favourite Promo Insult Of All Time

WWE legend The Rock has named his pick for his greatest insult in pro wrestling history, and it doesn’t matter what the fans think!

On top of being a third-generation wrestler and one of the biggest stars in all of Hollywood, The Great One became known for his many iconic promos throughout his time in the squared circle. With his mix of hilarious put-downs, charisma and in-ring work, Rock became one of the biggest stars in pro wrestling history while also breaking through as a pop culture icon.

While appearing as a guest on Travis and Jason Kelce’s podcast New HeightsThe Great One admitted that there is one line in particular that ranks at the very top, adding that it is also somewhat absurd:

“The greatest Rock insult of all-time is, ok, The Rock says — take your opinion that the winner of the Super Bowl will be the Kansas City Chiefs, you roll it up, you roll that sumb**ch sideways and stick it straight up your candy ass! That was a crazy insult. I remember, (people) were like ‘where did this come from?’ And I was like, telling someone to stick something up their ass is an insult, but when you turn it sideways, it’s a whole different thing.”

The Rock has been conducting multiple interviews over the past few weeks to promote his latest movie The Smashing Machine, which focuses on the life and career of former MMA fighter Mark Kerr. Despite the buzz around the motion picture leading up to its release, the movie underperformed at the box office.

What Are Some Of The Rock’s Other Notable Promo Insults?

Seemingly finding new ways to insult his opponents every week, The Rock became a catchphrase machine during his pro wrestling career. Along with cutting off his rival with “It doesn’t matter…” Rock also used phrases such as “Roody poo candy ass”, “shut up b*tch”, “Know your role and shut your mouth”, and while in Toronto, stating that he was “The biggest thing to hit Canada because the Maple Leafs suck”, much to the annoyance of the live crowd.

Additionally, the likes of John Cena, The Big Show and Stephanie McMahon all found themselves on specific individual insults from The People’s Champion, many of which are still fondly remembered by fans.
