The Most Painful Finisher The Miz Has Taken

The Most Painful Finisher The Miz Has Taken

Having been in WWE for 20 years, The Miz has been hit with just about every finisher imaginable.

With previous matches against the likes of The Rock, John Cena and Randy Orton, the Grand Slam Champion has been on the receiving end of some iconic moves in the pro wrestling world. However, while some moves are straightforward, others are a lot more painful!

During an interview with Robbie Fox, Miz was asked which move is the worst to take inside a pro wrestling ring. Noting that a powerbomb is one of the more painful moves, The A Lister then pivoted to chokelams. In particular, it is The Great Khali’s slam that caused the most pain:

“Man, any type of powerbomb. So anyone that does a power bomb where you’re up on their shoulders and they powerbomb, that’s always a bad one. (Kevin Owens’ pop-up powerbomb?) That one’s-Yeah, that one’s pretty rough. It’s not too bad. Maybe a chokeslam is pretty brutal. Because when I want to take a chokeslam, I’m going as high as I possibly can, and when you come back down, poof, your back feels it. Oh, Great Khali’s. Holy cow. Great Khali would have to be number one.”

Miz is currently a part of the Danhausen storyline in WWE. As part of one of Danhausen’s “experiments”, Miz and Kit Wilson have been turned into Zombies who can only say their catchphrases.

The Miz Ranks The Great Khali As Having The Most Painful Finisher

At over 7 feet, Khali is one of the biggest wrestlers in WWE history. With this in mind, anyone taking a slam from the Hall of Famer has a sizeable drop to the mat, making the impact that much more painful. Khali is a former World Heavyweight Champion in WWE and was inducted into the Hall of Fame as part of the 2021 ceremony.
