The Latest On Karrion Kross' WWE Contract

An update has emerged on Karrion Kross’ WWE deal as the former NXT Champion has seen a groundswell of support over the past few months.

Although Kross has not competed on the main roster since the Andre the Giant Battle Royal on the SmackDown before WrestleMania, the Raw star has regularly appeared in backstage segments on TV. Additionally, Kross cut multiple promos in podcast interviews and online that caught the attention of fans. Despite the fact that there are calls for Kross to do more on WWE TV, there has been no indication that he will be featured more prominently anytime soon.

While Kross’ in-ring future remains an uncertainty, a recent report has also given an insight into his contract. As reported by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful SelectKross is in his contract year with sources claiming that it will expire in the summer. In terms of a potential renewal, Fightful notes that the company has not approached Kross about an extension or renewal, with no indication if this will happen.

Additionally, Fightful adds that to the best of their knowledge, there are a few months left on Kross’ deal.

Karrion Kross Has Made 2 Non-WWE Appearances In 2025

Although Kross has been mostly absent from the WWE ring in 2025, he has competed twice in independent promotions. Along with being victorious at Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport 13, Kross also competed at the Chris Bey benefit show.
