Steve Austin could have been part of a strange cameo appearance at WrestleMania 41 and be paid handsomely in the process.
Although Austin made multiple appearances in Las Vegas over the weekend, The Texas Rattlesnake did not factor into any of the matches or get physical with anyone on the roster, even if he was offered $1 million to be a part of one match.
Discussing Austin on his Impaulsive podcast, Logan Paul stated that he offered Austin the million to be disguised in a giant Prime bottle, but the Hall of Famer turned down the request:
“We offered Steve a million dollars to be in the Prime bottle. He didn’t do it. So instead he ran a poor woman over with an ATV. We offered him a million like bro, do you want to get in this bottle? I don’t think he even considered it for a second. Imagine it, he face-revealed the Prime bottle and it’s Stone Cold?! He could have done anything, which is why it would have worked.”
What Did Steve Austin Do At WrestleMania 41?
Austin appeared twice in front of the live crowd over WrestleMania weekend. On night 1, Austin appeared alongside Bret Hart on the entrance stage as part of the Hall of Fame recognition segment. The next night, the Hall of Famer announced the weekend attendance for the live fans. However, the biggest talking point from the segment was when he crashed his ATV into the barricade, knocking down a fan in the process. Austin and WWE President Nick Khan spoke to the fan afterwards.
It should also be noted that Austin recently underwent knee surgery, meaning that physicality was unlikely in his appearances.
