Reigning WWE NXT Women’s North American Champion Sol Ruca is unable to compete in her upcoming title match against Blake Monroe at Halloween Havoc.
During the October 21 broadcast, Ruca made her way to the ring with a knee brace and crutch and stated that she would not be cleared in time for her next title defence. Additionally, the reigning Women’s North American and WWE Women’s Speed Champion was unable to let the fans know when she would be back in action.
Ruca was last in action alongside Zaria on the October 17 episode of WWE SmackDown, which saw the NXT duo unsuccessfully challenge Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair for the Women’s Tag Team Championships. Ruca, who was helped to the back after the match, confirmed that this was where the injury occurred. Prior to the show, the Women’s North American Champion stated that she would be providing an update that night, prompting concern from many fans who suspected another title vacation was set to take palce after Seth Rollins lost the World Heavyweight Championship prematurely due to injury on Raw the night before.
