Women’s wrestling is alive and well in the UK, and the first Sirens Fury show of 2026, Sirens Come Out To Play, set the tone for what looks set to be a very strong year.
On February 26, the all-women’s promotion took over Fusion nightclub in Liverpool, the home of many shows hosted by sister promotion TNT, to present the 5-match show. Along with established stars such as Lana Austin and Session Moth Martina in action, the show also saw rising stars such as Maddie Morgan, Saxa and Deka, the latter of which made her singles debut on the show.
Despite a delay getting fans into the venue, the crowd was loud from the moment ring announcer Veronica Salt introduced the show right through to the very end. Even though it was a Thursday, the Liverpool fans were very much here to party and firmly in support of all 10 wrestlers on the card.
Kicking off the show was Alexxis Falcon vs. Lucy Sky in what was easily the most physical match of the evening. After Falcon insulted the fans for turning their back on her, Sky made her entrance but was kicked off the apron before she could get in the ring. What followed was a brawl that went all over Fusion Nightclub before the match could even begin.
With Sky and Falcon finally in the ring, both women did not let up with hard-hitting strikes that rang out through the arena. However, Sky’s anger got the better of her as she accidentally struck the referee with a vicious right hand, causing the match to end in DQ. Security intervened to prevent further violence, but this one is far from over. With Sirens Fury sister promotion TNT known for also putting on violent matches, there could be a no DQ rematch on the horizon.
The first of 2 appearances from Lallie [Lana Austin and Hollie Barlow] came next as Sky was in action against Maddie Morgan, who has already appeared for notable promotions such as Progress and True Grit despite being just 18 years old. Austin tripped Morgan at the start to give Barlow the advantage, but this proved to be a mistake for Austin as the referee made the match an impromptu title bout, meaning that Barlow had to defend Austin’s TNT Ignition Women’s Championship. One superkick later and it looked like a new champion was about to be crowned just a few seconds into the match. However, Barlow kicked out to keep the match alive.
With a championship [and her friendship with Austin] now on the line, Barlow looked distraught and desperate to pick up the win. Morgan showed off her athleticism while Barlow had an increased sense of urgency to keep Austin’s title by any means necessary. After a hard-fought bout, Barlow picked up the pinfall win and was given the opportunity to celebrate with Austin’s championship, albeit very briefly. Despite the loss, Morgan put on a great showing even in defeat.
Following a performance from Emma’s Dance Club, the energy shifted to a new level as Session Moth Martina made her entrance for her match against Leah Raven. With Cascada’s dance anthem Everytime We Touch blaring out through Fusion nightclub, it was clear that Martina was ready to party and the fans were very willing to join in with the fun. While Martina is equal parts enthusiastic and hilarious, she can more than back it up when the bell rings. Martina faced Leah Raven in a very fun back-and-forth match that had the crowd split. Although Martina picked up the win, the veteran praised Raven after the bell and both celebrated with a beer to bring the first half to an enthusiastic close.
The second half began with a much darker theme as Deka made her entrance for her match against Saxa in what was Deka’s singles debut. Saxa was the clear fan favourite here, but Deka handled the crowd reactions great and has evolved her character much more since her match last year at Sirens: Where The Big Girls Play. Cutting off Saxa’s 619 attempt multiple times, Saxa finally hit the move, but it was Deka who picked up the win with a modified spinebuster. These 2 are definitely stars of the future.
Team Lallie Wins Big At Sirens Fury
Just when it seemed that the crowd couldn’t get any louder or have any more fun, the opening of Tina Turner’s hit Simply The Best sent the Liverpool fans into overdrive as Undisputed Champion Lana Austin made her entrance. With Hollie Barlow accompanying her best friend to the ring, it was clear that shenanigans would be taking place in Austin’s title defence against Melissa Fierce. Although Austin was supposed to be the heel, it’s impossible to boo the Lallie duo as they bring so much fun and energy to any show they are a part of. The only time that fans were not happy was when repeated requests of Lana’oke were denied.
Austin looked for the quick win by striking Fierce with the title, but the challenger avoided it. Fierce very much belonged in the main event and put up a great fight against the established champion.
Barlow attempted to cheat to give Austin the win, but the referee ejected Barlow towards the end of the match. However, Austin was still able to capitalise to pick up the pin with her discus forearm. After the match, Austin celebrated with the fans before reuniting with Barlow to bring the show to a close. Austin proclaims she is simply the best, and the passionate Liverpool fans very much agreed.
A very reasonably priced ticket and with all 5 matches delivering, this show was absolutely value for money. With more shows set to take place in 2026, Sirens Fury is absolutely worth checking out either live or on their YouTube subscription service. The show was sold out and for good reason. From the veterans to the rising star, this was a showcase of the present and future of the division, and don’t be surprised to see the newer wrestlers in more prominent spots over the next few years.
Very much flying the flag for women’s wrestling, Sirens Fury was a night of action, laughs, and something for every wrestling fan.
