Seth Rollins Gives Update On WWE Raw Following Injury Concerns

Seth Rollins has broken his silence on his recent knee injury.

On the January 15th episode of Raw, the World Heavyweight Champion picked up a knee injury in his title defence against Jinder Mahal. With Rollins having a history of knee injuries, there were concerns as to what the future would hold. Later in the week, it was announced that Seth Rollins would open the go-home episode of Raw to update the fans on his status, much to the concern of the WWE Universe.

On the January 22nd Raw Rollins made his way to the ring with his knee in a brace. After addressing the injury, Rollins confirmed that he had a Grade 2 tear of his MCL and a torn meniscus. The bad news appeared to keep coming as Rollins stated that the healing time would be 3 to 4 months if surgery was required, meaning that he would miss WrestleMania 40.

Will Seth Rollins Be A Part Of WrestleMania

Rollins was interrupted by Intercontinental Champion Gunther, who stated that he had been ducking Rollins for far too long. As Gunther mocked Rollins for being injured, Rollins responded that he was cut off prematurely, giving the additional update that he is going to rehab his knee and will do everything that it takes to walk into WrestleMania 40 as World Heavyweight Champion.

Respectful of his choice, Gunther responded that he would win the Royal Rumble match and would choose Rollins as his champion to face at WrestleMania.

Features of Wrestling would like to wish Seth Rollins a full and speedy recovery.
