Roman Reigns will be in action at WWE Clash in Paris in what will be his first singles match since January 2025.
As announced by Raw General Manager Adam Pearce on social media on August 20, The OTC will be in action at the Premium Live Event as he will take on the man he has had issues with over the past few weeks, Bronson Reed.
Reed has taken out Reigns multiple times over the past few weeks, stealing Reigns’ shoes in the process and being dubbed “The Tribal Thief” by Paul Heyman. Getting some revenge on the August 18 episode of Raw, Reigns hit Reed with a spear at ringside and demanded he face the big man in Paris, which has now been made official.
The last time Reigns competed in a one-on-one match was at the start of the year, which saw the former World Champion defeat Solo Sikoa in a Tribal Combat match to bring their rivalry to an end. After the bout, The Rock made his way to the ring to acknowledge Reigns.
Roman Reigns Match Officially Added To Clash In Paris
Following the latest update, 4 matches are now official for the show. It should be noted that while Naomi was originally set to defend her Women’s World Championship against Stephanie Vaquer, the match has pulled from the card and the title has been vacated as Naomi announced that she was pregnant.
The confirmed card is now as follows:
- John Cena vs. Logan Paul
- Seth Rollins (c) vs. LA Knight vs. Jey Uso vs. CM Punk – 4-way match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship
- Rusev vs. Sheamus in a Good ‘Ol Fashioned Donnybrook match
- Roman Reigns vs Bronson Reed
Clash in Paris will air live on August 31 on Peacock in the United States and on Netflix internationally.
