Roman Reigns Celebrates World Title Win On WWE Raw, Interrupted By New Challenger

Roman Reigns looked to end the WWE Raw after WrestleMania in a big way, but was instead interrupted by someone he is very familiar with.

Reigns and The Usos appeared live in the ring to close out the April 20 broadcast. Reigns said that he intended to keep things simple, but wanted to handle some family business first. Admitting that he missed being alongside The Usos, Reigns stated that they were unstoppable as a trio on the same page. The Bloodline was then interrupted by Jacob Fatu, who said that he wanted to face Reign for the championship at Backlash on May 9. Fatu said that he was looking to upgrade his life for his family, and that he needed the championship to make that a reality.

Reigns defeated CM Punk in the main event of WrestleMania 42 night 2 to win the World Heavyweight Championship, his 11th World Title overall. Fatu defeated Drew McIntyre in an unsanctioned match on night 1 to end their rivalry.

Roman Reigns To Respond To Challenge On Next WWE Raw

Reigns ended the segment by questioning if Fatu wanted to challenge The OTC, and promised that he would give the former United States Champion an answer next week. Following WrestleMania, Reigns stated in the post-show that he would not be a part-time champion moving forward.

Also on the post-show, the fans chanted for Oba Femi to be a future challenger for Reigns, to which The OTC said he would wait and see before answering.
