The first semi-final has been set in the AEW Grand Slam World Title Eliminator Tournament.
The tournament to crown the new number one contender for the AEW World Championship kicked off on the September 6th episode of Dynamite. The two first round matches that took place on the show saw Roderick Strong defeat Trent Beretta and Darby Allin defeat Nick Wayne in the main event.
Allin and Strong will face off in the semi-final on the September 9th episode of Collision, with the winner of that match going on to the finals on September 13th.
The other first-round matches will take place on September 8th, which will see Samoa Joe face Jeff Hardy and Penta El Zero Miedo take on Jay Lethal.
