Rhea Ripley has looked back on her time in The Judgment Day and the moment she feels that the group lost their momentum.
Originally comprised of herself, Damian Priest and Edge, the group was fully established when Edge was kicked out and replaced with Finn Balor. Following the inclusion of Dominik Mysterio, the quartet found championship success with all 4 members winning titles.
The current group is comprised of Balor, Mysterio, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, JD McDonagh and Carlito. Unlike the previous line-up, the group is seen more as a mid-card act as opposed to a main event threat. While speaking with The Toronto Sun, Ripley noted that the moment that she and Priest were kicked out of the group marked the start of the downturn:
“Judgment Day died when Damian and I got turned on. They died. When we got kicked out, they died. They’re not the Judgment Day anymore, and I absolutely have no idea what the hell they’re doing.”
Ripley and Priest were both kicked out of the group at SummerSlam 2024 when Dominik Mysterio and Finn Balor were responsible for their respective losses.
Rhea Ripley Looking To Win Back Championship
Ripley will be in action at WrestleMania 41 as she and Bianca Belair will both challenge IYO SKY for the Women’s World Championship. Ripley lost the title to SKY back in March following a distraction from Belair. Over the next few weeks, Ripley protested the decision and was eventually added to the Mania match.
