Randy Orton will exclusively appear on WWE SmackDown moving forward.
Following Orton making his return to WWE at Survivor Series, the respective managers of Raw and SmackDown, Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis, want to have The Viper a part of their roster.
The main event segment of the December 1st SmackDown saw both General Managers in the ring, hoping to sign Orton. The live crowd gave The Apex Predator a massive ovation, ecstatic to see him back in WWE.
The two General Managers argued and pleaded their case to Orton before being interrupted by Paul Heyman.
Heyman stated that there would be no RKO’s on the show as The Bloodline would look to finish what they started 18 months ago. Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso made their way to the ring and attacked Orton before being saved by LA Knight. The Megastar dealt with Sikoa while Orton targeted Uso, dropping him with an RKO.
Orton demanded the Raw and SmackDown contracts, choosing the blue brand to the dismay of Heyman. Aldis made his way into the ring to celebrate, but was also hit with an RKO.
