Paul Walter Hauser vs. Trent Seven Official For PROGRESS When September Ends

Paul Walter Hauser now knows his opponent for the next PROGRESS Wrestling show: When September Ends.

At Wrestling Over Everything, Trent Seven cut a promo in the Electric Ballroom after picking up the win over Luke Jacobs. Seven said that Hauser was a fraud champion, and looked to bring the title back to PROGRESS. The day after the challenge was made, the UK promotion announced that Hauser vs. Seven was official for the September 27 show.

The Emmy Award-winning actor won the Proteus Championship back in April 2025 at chapter 1790 in Las Vegas, NV. Hauser successfully defended the championship at Hundred Volts in August of that year, along with a further title defence in April 2026. The most recent defence was against the man who is now one of the new owners of PROGRESS, Big Damo.

This will be Walter Hauser’s 34th pro wrestling match overall.
