Omos Weighs In On WWE Absence

Omos has commented on his time away from WWE as many fans question when he will be back on TV.

The former Tag Team Champion last competed on WWE TV in April 2024 as an entrant in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal on the SmackDown before WrestleMania 40. Although The Nigerian Giant recently had a run in Pro Wrestling NOAH and captured the GHC Tag Team Championships with Jack Morris, there has been no indication that Omos will be making an onscreen return anytime soon despite the fact his tour in Japan came to a sudden end.

While speaking with WhatCulture, the WWE star stated that he enjoyed his time in Japan and is now just waiting for the call to come back:

“I’m just waiting. I had fun in Japan and I’m just patiently waiting.”

Later in the interview, the former Tag Team Champion added that he is ready to be a dominant force in the ring once more and is excited to get back, whenever that may be:

“To be honest man I’m just ready to dominate. There’s nothing that brings me more joy than to get in a wrestling ring. So whenever that happens, I’m just ready and excited to get back in there.”

When Did Omos Last Compete At WrestleMania?

The Nigerian Giant was last in action on The Grandest Stage back in 2023 for WrestleMania 39. In the opening match of night 2, Omos lost to Brock Lesnar after Lesnar hit an F5 on the 7-foot-3 star.
