The ratings are in for the New Year’s Evil special edition of NXT. On average, 685,000 people watched the latest episode of NXT 2.0. The numbers have been obtained by Brandon Thurston from Wrestlenomics:

NXT has seen an increase in viewers compared to the previous week. As the December 29th episode of NXT drew an average audience of 662,000 viewers, the increase calculates to approximately 3.5%. As noted by Thurston, this is the highest rated edition of NXT since their previous special edition episode, Halloween Havoc.
In regards to key demographic viewership, 206,000 viewers were aged between 18 and 49 years old, equating to a 0.16 rating. As reported by ShowBuzz Daily, NXT ranked 24th overall for key demographic viewership on Tuesday night. College football was the number one ranked show.
As previously mentioned, NXT: New Year’s Evil was a special edition of the show, marketed as a pay-per-view style episode. The biggest news from the event was that a new NXT Champion was crowned.
