All 8 competitors for the NXT Breakout Tournament have been announced. The line-up was revealed on the July 6th Great American Bash edition of NXT.
The following names will be competing in the tournament to earn a title shot on NXT in the future:
- Trey Baxter
- Andre Chase
- Josh Briggs
- Ikemen Jiro
- Joe Gacy
- Odyssey Jones
- Duke Hudson
- Carmelo Hayes
The announcement was made by all 8 competitors being introduced on the stage in front of the crowd at the Capitol Wrestling Center.
Two names were already revealed before this announcement. Both Joe Gacy and Andre Chase qualified by winning their respective matches on the July 2nd edition of 205 Live.
WWE have also announced that the tournament will start on the July 13th edition of NXT. The first match to take place will be Ikemen Jiro vs. Duke Hudson
