Nikki Cross has debuted new ring attire on the June 21st episode of Monday Night RAW. Cross’ new appearance is superhero inspired, complete with a new mask and entrance. The former Women’s Tag Team Champion had the following to say before her entrance:
“Recently, I have felt something spark inside of me. I’ve beaten Charlotte Flair, I’ve beaten the RAW Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley. And now I can win my way into the Money in the Bank ladder match. The last few weeks, I’ve been working on how to physically display to all of you the spark that’s been going on inside my heart. I’m so excited to be finally sharing it with all of you. And I won’t be alone, because no matter how far down we fall in life, we all share the same positivity, the same spark and the same spirit to win. Tonight, I represent all of us, no matter our shortcomings. So this embodies everything we all have inside of us. Our spirit!”

Nikki’s match was a tag team match where the winning team would advance to the Money in the Bank ladder match at the event of the same name. Cross teamed with her former championship winning partner Alexa Bliss. The team picked up a victory against another former team of Women’s Tag Team Champions Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler. Bliss and Cross won following Alexa using hypnosis to distract their opponents.
Nikki has been on a winning victory on recent episodes of RAW. On top of the tag team match victory, Cross has also defeated both Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley in separate beat the clock matches. The new look has been highly praised by fans and performers. One notable praise has been from Shane Helms, who played one of wrestling’s most famous superheroes The Hurricane.
It should be noted that this idea has come from Cross directly, as opposed to from the WWE creative team. A few months ago, Nikki pitched the idea with artist Rob Downie. The artist has also posted some of the original concept art on his social media following the reveal. With the high level of praise and the amount of work that has gone into this, the new look appears to be more long term instead of a one off.
