Nikki Cross Makes Surprise Return To The Ring Ahead Of PROGRESS Scorchio

Former WWE Women’s Champion Nikki Cross made her return to the ring in what was her first match since becoming a free agent.

Cross, who now competes under the name Nikki Storm, teamed up with her husband Big Damo at OTT’s After Dark in Dublin, Ireland. Cross and Damo picked up the win over Frankie Vendetta and Kat Von Kay in what was the former WWE star’s unannounced return to the ring.

After being released by WWE in early April, Storm became a free agent on July 23. Cross and the rest of the Wyatt Sicks faction were among the names let go by the promotion shortly after WrestleMania 42.

After the match, Storm took to social media to thank Damo for the invite. The former Women’s Champion also said that she would be back in August. Storm has been announced for the Summer Bash show on August 16.

Hey there @damomackle
Thank you for the invite tonight, glad I could lend you a hand 😌❤️
After having conflicting schedules for the better part of ten years, it felt damn nice to be in a ring again with my love ❤️
The Best in the Galaxy at @over_the_top_wrestling tonight!
See you all in August ⚡️🌌

This was also Storm’s first match since December 2024, where she teamed with the Wyatt Sicks as part of a WWE house show.
