Nikki Bella has commented on what the future holds for her in wrestling following on from her surprise appearance at the Royal Rumble.
Making her return to the ring for the first time in 3 years, the Hall of Famer was the number 30 entrant in the Women’s Royal Rumble match. Receiving a great reaction from the crowd, many were hoping to see Bella have one final run in the company given how the landscape of women’s wrestling has changed in recent years.
Following her appearance in the crowd at the Raw on Netflix premiere, Bella stated that she was interested in making a return and described WWE as “home.” Speaking about her wrestling future on The Nikki and Brie Show, the former Women’s Champion told fans to stay tuned as she is continuing to train and there will be more appearances in the future:
“I do know there’s a lot of rumors on the internet, ‘Is this a one-off or is she here to stay?’ Well, keep tuning in because you will see another Fearless Nikki appearance, sooner than later, that is for sure,” Bella said. “But I’m definitely doing more than what I just did Saturday. So, I’m continuing to train. And it’s just — I have felt so empowered and alive in certain ways. Honestly, the most important thing that I’ve been getting back that I realized I have lost for so many years, which is unlike me and I never would have thought I lost it, is definitely my confidence.”
Will Brie Bella Join Nikki Bella?
While fans were happy to see Nikki make her return to the ring, there are now questions as to whether or not her sister Brie will also be back in the ring anytime soon. Also addressing this on the podcast, the Hall of Famer alluded to a Bellas reunion:
“Hopefully, Brie Mode will be by my side soon. More on that to come.”
Brie Bella last competed in the 2022 Women’s Royal Rumble, eliminating her sister.
