Nia Jax has her eyes on more than one championship in WWE.
2024 has been a good year for The Irresistible Force. Although Jax was unable to defeat Rhea Ripley in the main event of Elimination Chamber Perth, the SmackDown star recovered from the loss in a huge way later in the year. First winning the Queen of the Ring tournament, Nia Jax capitalised on the momentum by defeating Bayley at SummerSlam to win the Women’s Championship for a second time after first becoming the champion back in 2018.
Currently aligned with Miss Money in the Bank Tiffany Stratton, Jax has teased a match with Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair. Speaking with Adrian Hernandez of Unlikely, the Women’s Champion saw no reason why she couldn’t go for the gold alongside Tiffy and added that they deserve it:
“I mean, right now I’m with my Princess Tiffy, and I don’t see why we couldn’t team up and go after the tag team titles. You know, Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair are currently the women’s tag team champions, but why not? Why can’t we go for all the gold? I think that we deserve it. You know, we are the tippy top right now of the division, and I think we should go for the gold. So, yeah, that would be a great challenge next for us.”
Has Nia Jax Won The Women’s Tag Team Championships Before?
Jax is a former t-time holder of the Women’s Tag Team Championships, both times with Shayna Baszler as her partner. Defeating Bayley and Sasha Banks at Payback 2020 to win the gold for the first time, Jax and Baszler lost the championships to Asuka and Charlotte Flair later that year at the TLC PPV. Jax and Baszler won the titles back at the Royal Rumble before losing them to Natalya and Tamina in May 2021.
