WrestleMania Backlash will be the next pay per view event for main roster WWE. The event will take place on Sunday May 16th.
The first match confirmed for the show was announced last night on RAW. WWE Champion Bobby Lashley will defend his title against Drew McIntyre. The Scottish Warrior earned his opportunity last night by being victorious in a triple threat match against Braun Strowman and Randy Orton.
The match will be a rematch from night one of WrestleMania. In the contest, Bobby Lashley successfully retained the WWE Championship by Drew falling unconscious as a result of The Hurt Lock.
