Charlotte Flair is the new Raw Women’s Champion following Money in the Bank. Flair defeated now former champion Rhea Ripley by submission at the event. This victory now means that The Queen is now a 13 time women’s champion in WWE and NXT.
Following a near fall from a top-rope Natural Selection, Flair trapped Ripley’s leg in the steel steps. Charlotte then proceeded to kick the steps multiple times while Rhea’s leg was stuck. The Queen then put The Nightmare into the Figure Eight submission, to which Rhea tapped out to.
Following this victory, Charlotte Flair has the following championships to her WWE record. Flair is a 2 time NXT Women’s Champion, 1 time Divas Champion, 5 time SmackDown Women’s Championship and now 5 time RAW Women’s Champion.
Following the events of the Money in the Bank pay per view, Flair’s next challenger may be set. Nikki A.S.H. was the winner of the women’s Money in the Bank contract. This means that Nikki is guaranteed a title match whenever she chooses.
