The card for WWE NXT Battleground has been finalised with a title match and more added to the card.
After winning the vacant Women’s North American Championship at Stand & Deliver, Sol Ruca will put the title on the line against the inaugural champion, Kelani Jordan. On the May 20th episode of NXT, Jordan earned her opportunity by pinning Zaria, who has been teaming with Ruca over the past few months. Jordan took advantage of Zaria accidentally spearing Ruca to win the match.
The other match announced for the Premium Live Event sees Shawn Spears, Niko Vance, and Brooks Jensen set to take on Josh Briggs and NXT Tag Team Champions Hank and Tank. The champions saved Briggs from a beatdown by The Culling to set up the match.
The NXT and TNA World Championships will also be on the line as Oba Femi will defend his NXT Championship against Myles Borne and Trick Williams will challenge Joe Hendry for the TNA Championship. If Williams wins, he will make history as the first contracted WWE star to win the title.

- Sol Ruca (c) vs. Kelani Jordan – Singles match for the NXT Women’s North American Championship
- Tony D’Angelo vs. Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo
- Shawn Spears, Brooks Jensen, and Niko Vance vs. Josh Briggs, Hank Walker, and Tank Ledger
