Two matches are now official for the next WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event special, which will take place in Tampa, Florida on May 24.
The opening segment of the May 12th WWE Raw saw CM Punk voice his grievances following the events that took place at WrestleMania and on the subsequent episodes of Raw. After calling out Paul Heyman, the Hall of Famer interrupted Punk while accompanied by Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker. Following a brawl, Sami Zayn and Jey Uso came to the aid of Punk to stand tall. It was later announced that Rollins and Breakker vs. Punk and Zayn would take place at the next special.
This was the second match announced for the upcoming special as Jey Uso will put the World Heavyweight Championship on the line against Logan Paul. In what will be a non-title match, R-Truth will take on 17-time World Champion John Cena following the events that took place at Backlash and at the press conference after the show.
The only Women’s match announced for the show will see Chelsea Green attempt to win back the Women’s United States Championship as she takes on Zelina Vega.
