WWE star Natalya is the latest wrestler to sign a new deal with the company.
With contract news dominating the wrestling world throughout 2024, Natalya’s deal was one that sparked interest from fans as it was reported that the former Women’s Champion had not signed a new deal despite the fact that her contract expiring in June. Speculation only increased further when the Raw star was not seen at recent tapings and had not had a match since the June 4th episode of NXT.
As first reported by Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Natalya had “locked in” a new WWE deal and would be remaining with the company for the foreseeable future. Sean Ross Sapp provided further updates on Fightful Select, where it was reported that the Raw star had signed a “multi-year contract” and the deal was completed in late June shortly before her previous deal expired. It was also added that there was interest in Natalya and her husband TJ Wilson, who serves as a producer, outside of WWE and that there was a “real possibility” that the former Women’s Champion may exit the company.
Natalya Remains With WWE While Another Top Star Departs
While Natalya is the latest wrestler to lock in a new deal with WWE and commit to her future, not everyone has chosen the same option. Choosing to bet on himself, Ricochet elected to not sign a new deal and was written off TV with an attack by Bron Breakker. Ricochet’s contract expired on July 1st and the former United States Champion was removed from the roster page.
