Hall of Famers, signature stipulations and more have been announced for the 1000th episode of IMPACT Wrestling, which will air on September 8th.
Hall of Famers Team 3D will team for the first time in nearly a decade to compete inside an IMPACT ring. The multi-time IMPACT Tag Team Champions’ opponents are still to be revealed.
Knockouts Division pioneers Gail Kim and Awesome Kong will also be having matches on the show. The former champions’ rivalry is one of the most iconic rivalries in women’s wrestling history, giving respect to a division that was seen as nothing more than a bathroom break spot in WWE at the same time.
Signature match types will also be returning. Hoping to avoid the dreaded pink slip briefcase, Feat or Fired returns at IMPACT 1000. 4 cases will be suspended above the ring, with 3 cases giving the holders title matches, and the forth informing the holder that they are fired.
Showcasing The X Division’s signature stipualtion, Ultimate X will also be making its return at the landmark show.
