More matches have been made official for Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XIII, which will take place in Las Vegas over WrestleMania weekend.
Over the past few weeks, the competitors for the unique pro wrestling and MMA hybrid event have been announced by Barnett, with a record 5 stars from WWE confirmed to compete along with competitors from New Japan, NWA and other major promotions. After first announcing that Natalya would take on Miyu Yamashita at the show, more matches have been announced in the coming days with Karrion Kross, Karmen Petrovic, Pete Dunne and Chrlie Dempsey all being matched up with their respective opponents.
The latest announcement sees former IWGP Heavyweight Champion Zack Sabre Jr. set to take on Jonathan Gresham at the show, with Barnett saying the following about the upcoming bout on social media:
“Grapplers through and through. Masters of the mats. A British submission scientist takes on an American grappling master. Zach Sabre Jr. vs Jonathan Gresham.”
More match announcements were confiemed in the coming days, including Barnett in action against NJPW’s Gabe Kidd and Shayna Baszler making her return.
