As a result of the go-home episode of SmackDown, multiple matches have been added to the card and one match has been altered. The biggest change is to the SmackDown Women’s Championship. Originally, Bianca Belair vs. Bayley was scheduled to be a standard singles match. However, following the events of SmackDown, the match will now take place inside Hell in A Cell.

The first new match announced is Seth Rollins vs. Cesaro. Both men have been brawling since their clash at WrestleMania. Most notably, The Messiah attacked The Swiss Cyborg following Cesaro’s loss to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania Backlash. The match was confirmed on the most recent episode of SmackDown, with Rollins confronting Cesaro backstage:
The final new match to be added to the card is another rematch from WrestleMania. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn will face off one more time. Zayn interfered in Owen’s tag team match on the June 18th SmackDown. Kevin Owens and Big E lost to the team of Apollo Crews and Commander Azeez, following the interference from Sami Zayn. Because of this, Owens will face Zayn one more time at the Hell in A Cell pay per view.
This is the updated card for Hell in A Cell on June 20th:
- Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Drew McIntyre – Hell in A Cell match for the WWE Championship. If Drew McIntyre loses, he can’t challenge Bobby Lashley for the Championship again.
- Bianca Belair (c) vs. Bayley – Hell in A Cell match for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.
- Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Charlotte Flair – Singles match for the RAW Women’s Championship.
- Alexa Bliss vs. Shayna Baszler.
- Cesaro vs. Seth Rollins.
- Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn.
