More International WWE Premium Live Events Coming In 2025

Multiple members of the WWE roster have been informed that their services will no longer be required in the company.

WWE is looking to go more global than ever before next year.

Fans around the world have been spoilt in 2024 with multiple big shows such as Elimination Chamber [Australia], Clash at the Castle [Scotland] and Backlash [France] all being held overseas. In addition to fans in the area getting to see the top stars in action, those in Europe have also been able to watch the PLEs at a regular time, especially the 10 am start time for the Australian show. While Elimination Chamber has been confirmed for Canada in March 2025, it remains unknown which other countries will host a WWE event in the next 12 months. However, according to one executive, there is a good chance that the promotion will make its way outside the United States for some of the biggest events.

Speaking on the Sports Media Podcast, VP of talent relations and head of communications Chris Legentil stated that there will be more to come in 2025:

“This year alone, we did more than half our (premium live events) outside the U.S. Look for more of that when we’re in partnership with Netflix because we’re going to be working with them hand-in-hand to select locations across the world where we can grow our audience and hopefully gain some subscribers for them.”

Frustrating WWE Feature To End

In just a few weeks, Raw will be broadcast on Netflix around the world for at least the next 5 years. With Raw tapings announced for European cities, it has been previously reported that the show will air live regardless of the time zone, meaning that fans on the continent will not have to wait until 1 am to view a show that was taped 4 hours beforehand. With many questions about the upcoming Netflix launch, Features of Wrestling has compiled an FAQ of what to expect in January.
