MJF vs. Samoa Joe Announced For AEW Worlds End

MJF will have to defend the AEW World Championship against Samoa Joe for a second time.

After successfully defending the championship at Full Gear and becoming the first wrestler to hold the title for a year, it was time for MJF to repay his debt.

Prior to Full Gear, Samoa Joe agreed to help MJF defend the ROH Tag Team Championships at the pay-per-view providing that he could get a future opportunity at the Triple B. Reluctantly, MJF agreed.

On the November 22nd episode of AEW Dynamite, MJF and Cole made their way to the ring to address what was next.

After MJF bragged about his accolades, Cole expressed that he is nowhere near ready to come back. Following a brief interruption from the mysterious Devil, Samoa Joe confronted the World Champion. Joe referenced the championship rematch, which MJF initially refused.

Cole calmed Joe down and declared that MJF needed to be a man of his word and honour the conditions, which MJF did.

The two men first faced off at Grand Slam back in September, with MJF picking up the victory.
