Mercedes Mone has announced who she will be defending the Undisputed British Women’s Championship against at the upcoming RevPro High Stakes special.
As announced at Epic Encounter, Mone appeared via video to announce that would put the title on the line against Kanji on April 20th at High Stakes, which will take place in Doncaster on April 20th. Kanji was in action at the show against AEW’s Deonna Purrazzo. RevPro later made the match official on social media.
At the time of writing, this is the only match that has been confirmed for High Stakes.
Nottingham native Kanji is a former Southside Women’s Champion in RevPro and also previously held the Progress Wrestling World Women’s Championship. Kanji has also defeated Lucia Lee, Safire Reed and Skye Smithson in her last few appearances for RevPro.
Mercedes Mone Is Coming To The UK
After defeating Mina Shirakawa at the inaugural Wrestle Dynasty show back in January to win the Undisputed British Women’s Championship, RevPro announced that Mercedes Mone would be appearing at High Stakes to defend the title for the first time. Mone last competed at House of Glory’s City of Dreamz show with a victory over Indi Hartwell. Mone also defeated Mono Watanabe at AEW Revolution to retain the TBS Championship.
