Mercedes Mone Sets New AEW Record

Mercedes Mone has officially made AEW history with her latest milestone, setting a new record for the company as part of the accomplishment.

The CEO, who is also the reigning TBS Champion, has now held the title for 509 days, surpassing Jade Cargill as the longest-reigning champion in the title’s history. Mone won the title back at Double or Nothing 2024, defeating Willow Nightingale to capture her first championship in All Elite Wrestling. Cargill is now a member of the WWE roster, signing with the company back in September 2023, and has been featured prominently on TV since.

Since then, Mone has put the title on the line against the likes of Britt Baker, Hikaru Shida, Stephanie Vaquer, Mina Shirakawa and others. It is not known when Mone’s next title defence will be as she is ot scheduled to be in action at WrestleDream, but will be appearing live at the pay-per-view.

New AEW Records Adds To Mercedes Mone’s Accomplishments

On top of her accomplishments in AEW, Mone has been very active on the independent scene, and has captured multiple championships around the world in the process. With 10 championships to her name, Mone currently holds the CMLL World Women’s Championship, RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship, Queen of Southside Championship (merged with the RevPro title), Discovery Wrestling Scottish Women’s Championship, EWA Women’s Championship (Austria), PTW Women’s Championship (Poland), BestYa Women’s Championship (Italy), the Bodyslam Women’s Championship (Denmark), and the 2025 Owen Hart Foundation Championship as well as being the reigning TBS Champion in AEW.
