NJPW has confirmed the full card for Wrestle Kingdom 20, and which match will headline the show.
On December 15, New Japan announced that Hiroshi Tanahashi’s retirement match against long-time rival Kazuchika Okada would be the main event of the company’s biggest show of the year. Tanahashi announced in 2024 that he would be retiring at Wrestle Kingdom 20, and has since gone on to compete around the world in promotions such as AEW and RevPro, along with NJPW.
Other notable matches announced for the show will see AEW’s Konosuke Takeshita take on Yota Tsuji, with both the IWGP World and Global Championships at stake, along with Saya Kamitani facing Syuri with both of their titles on the line.

- Saya Kamitani (STRONG) vs. Syuri (IWGP) – Winner takes all for the NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship & IWGP Women’s Championship
