Lola Vice has won her first championship in WWE after capturing the NXT Women’s Championship at Stand & Deliver.
Competing in the opening match of the show, Vice defeated now former champion Jacy Jayne and Kendal Grey to win the title for the first time in her career. The closing moments of the match saw Jayne send Grey out of the ring with a rolling encore, with Vice capitalising with a spinning backfist to win the championship.
The defeat brings Jayne’s reign to an end at 137 days. Jayne won the title for the second time at NXT Gold Rush, winning the championship back from Tatum Paxley at the special. Jayne was also one of a select few to hold the NXT Women’s Championship more than once.
This was the first of 2 title changes to take place on the show, as Tony D’Angelo captured the NXT Championship in the main event.
Lola Vice Now Double Champion Following Victory
As well as now being the NXT Women’s Champion, Vice is also one half of the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Champions. Vice holds the mixed titles with Mr. Iguana. The duo won the titles back in November, defeating Ethan Page and Chelsea Green to capture the championships.
