Liv Morgan Win's Women's Royal Rumble

After 9 years, Liv Morgan has finally won the Women’s Royal Rumble.

Competing in the opening match of the Premium Live Event, Morgan was the last woman standing in Saudi Arabia, last eliminating Tiffany Stratton to win the match in the firts time in her career. Morgan entered the match at number 14 and picked up 3 eliminations in the match, one of which being her Judgment Day teammate Raquel Rodriguez.

The closing moments of the match saw Morgan, Sol Ruca and Tiffany Stratton all on the apron. All 3 women fought on the side of the ring, with Stratton eliminating Ruca and Morgan eliminating Stratton to win the match. Morgan and Natalya have both entered every Women’s Royal Rumble match since its inception in 2018, with Morgan previously making it to the final 2 twice.

The match was full of surprises, as Brie Bella made her return to reunite with her twin sister Nikki, along with NXT stars Sol Ruca, Jacy Jayne and Kelani Jordan all making appearances in the match. Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss started at 1 and 2, with Flair accidentally eliminating Bliss. Later in the match, Kairi Sane accidentally eliminated Asuka in what was another tag team miscommunication that resulted in an elimination.

After the match, Morgan stood on the turnbuckle and celebrated as pyro went off in the stadium.
