A title match, two rivals will collide and more has been announced for the March 16 episode of WWE Raw.
In the opening match of the March 9 broadcast, Bayley outlasted the competition in a gauntlet match to become the new number one contender for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship, which is currently held by AJ Lee. The title match has been announced for next week’s Raw, which will also be Lee’s first Raw match since 2015.
At the Royal Rumble, The Original El Grande Americano made his return from injury and faced off with the new El Grande Americano. With Original Americano repeatedly interfering in the new Americano’s matches, the masked men will face off next week.
Additionally, Brock Lesnar will appear live once more. Lesnar has put out an open challenge for WrestleMania 42, which has yet to be answered. Lesnar will not be accompanied by Paul Heyman, as The Wiseman was recently taken out by Seth Rollins.
Also announced, Roman Reigns will appear live to continue the build to his WrestleMania main event match against CM Punk. Things got very personal during their last meeting, as Punk brought up Reigns’ late father during their exchange.
