Line-Up Announced For December 26 WWE SmackDown

A title match, The Miz looks for revenge and more has been announced for the December 26 edition of WWE SmackDown.

Still looking to be a fighting champion, Ilja Dragunov will once again put his US Title on the line in an open challenge. At the time of writing, Dragunov’s opponent has not been announced and will likely be revealed on the show.

Back at Saturday Night’s Main Event, The Miz was embarrassed when he was beaten down by R-Truth and Joe Hendry. On the December 19 SmackDown, The Miz demanded that Nick Aldis give him a match against Hendry next week, which the General Manager agreed to.

After meeting with Aldis at his home, Drew McIntyre has agreed to return to SmackDown. Negotiaiting terms on his level, McIntyre will get a future match against WWE Champion Cody Rhodes with the title on the line, but Rhodes can’t touch McIntyre until the match takes place.

It should be noted that the show has been taped ahead of time to give the staff and roster time off for the holidays, meaning that spoilers are available.
